Mendlesham Football Club Sportman's Dinner |
Mendlesham Football Club are a developing amateur club playing in the Suffolk & Ipswich League (Division 1). Mendlesham also have a youth team playing at under 11 level. This is the 3rd Sportman's dinner hosted at ITFC by Mendlesham Football Club and each year the event has grown further to the success of the previous year. In 2010, Mendlesham Football Club are delighted to welcome Matt Le Tissier as their guest speaker and in addition to the fabulous three course meal, there will also be some fantastic memorabilia for guests to bid for.

Ipswich Town is delighted to offer groups of 15 or more a superb 'behind the scenes' tour of Portman Road. You and your group can revel in the clubs history and view memorabilia from years gone by with our experienced and friendly tour guides. Our tours take you to the recently refurbished changing rooms, the prestigious boardroom, home of all the decision making and to the sideline where you can sit in the dugouts*.
Tours are available at £8 per person plus VAT and can be booked via enquiries@numberonvenue.co.uk 01473 400580 or if your numbers are less than 15 why not join one of our regular Monday evening tours where you can join other smaller parties. | ITFC and Suffolk Chamber bring the World Cup to Portman Road awarded a Bronze Award! |
Working in conjunction with the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, Ipswich Town are delighted to receive a Bronze Award for the 2010 World Cup Events being held at Portman Road.
The award, in the category 'Chairman's Award for Innovation' was presented at the 'Official Football Hospitality Awards' hosted at the DW Stadium in Wigan on 27th May 2010. Ipswich Town were beaten to Gold and Silver place by Leicester City and Aston Villa Football Clubs.

As a member of our hospitality team you will be in a customer-facing role and will be expected to have a polite and courteous manner and enjoy working as part of a team
Your main duties will include:
* Working in one of our corporate areas
* Preparing your area for service
* Taking orders and serving guests
* Clearing tables
* Relaying for half time/ full time where appropriate
* Clearing down your area and resetting where appropriate

| Fit for a King? |
Ipswich Town was delighted to recently welcome HRH Prince Charles to the Princes Trust Event held on Tuesday 2nd December. The event serviced by our own Conference and Hospitality team was arranged via the Ipswich Town Community Trust as Ipswich Town was the first football club to take part in the national TEAM programme initiative.
A hamper of local produce was presented to His Royal Highness by Head of Conferencing and Hospitality Mike Rieder. The Items were chosen to represent some of the outstanding quality and diversity of food available locally in the area. Ipswich Town Conferencing and Banqueting pride its self on the quality of food it provides and endeavours to source locally were feasible.
Prince Charles was very keen to learn about the links Ipswich Town has with local suppliers and producers as it is a personal passion of his to campaign for the use and development of the fabulous food available on our door steps. This is endorsed by the work the club is doing with Tastes of Anglia to not only use but support suppliers and producers in the area.
The Hamper included products from Aspall Cyder, Suffolk Farmhouse Cheese, Ess Food, Munchy Seed, Suffolk Larder, Hill Farm Oils

| Food for Thought On And Off The Pitch |
Ipswich Town have teamed up with several local companies to provide the right food and drink to boost the Blues’ energy levels over a long, hard season. Nutrition is now a key part of any player’s preparation for training and matches, as well as being just as important in the recovery process.
Town physio Matt Byard oversees the diets of the players and in conjunction with the Club’s Head of Conference and Hospitality, Mike Rieder, is liaising with local companies to help provide the perfect food content for the first-team and Academy squad, as well as ensuring that the Club’s many Corporate customers also benefit from the best locally produced fare through match day hospitality and events hosted by the conference and banqueting department.
